Liviu Georgescu (1953) introduced guitar as a classical instrument taught in the musical institutions in Romania. He is also the Founder and the President of the Romanian Guitar Foundation and the Director of the International Guitar Festival Sinaia (Romania).




He was the member of national and international juries in Germany, Greece, France, Italy, Czech Republic, Turkey, Serbia, Slovenia, etc. His artistic activities include concerts with orchestra and recitals at Romanian Philharmonics in the most important concert halls in Romania, special recordings for Radio and TV, master classes in Romania and abroad. He is awarded with the Diploma of honor for the best guitar teacher in Romania in 1985.
