Hristo Kolikov, founder and director of GuitArt Festival, was born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria where he started to play guitar at the age of ten. He got his music education in the National School of Music, Plovdiv and after that he obtained his Master Degree in Classical Guitar at the Mozarteum University, Salzburg under the guidance of the prominent professors Maria Isabel Siewers and Robert Wolf.



























In 2009 he founded the famous Bulgarian flamenco-fusion band Del Padre which performed at many festivals and big stages across Europe. In 2015 Hristo Kolikov founded the GuitArt Festival that takes place in three Bulgarian cities: Plovdiv, Sofia and Veliko Tarnovo.
