Dimitris Piperidis was born in Athens, Greece in 1973. Coming from a family that has dealt with traditional wood processing, has made his contact with wood and the necessary tools much easier. Throughout the years, his passion for music, combined with woodcrafting, led him to guitar building. Meeting Pavlos Gypas and Dominique Field, shaped his approach to a more traditional style of guitars.

After years of apprenticing and later working as an assistant in Pavlos Gypas workshop, and constantly consulting with Dominique Field, he gained a lot of experience in making high quality classical guitars.
Dimitris Piperidis runs his own workshop [DC Piperidis Guitars] for several years now. His aim is to produce well balanced instruments in terms of tone, sustain, power and playability.
