MASTER CLASSES – both individual and in group will be held for all the participants (pupils, students and teachers) by all lecturers of the festival at Dositej private secondary school before and during the afternoon, at the same time in several classrooms.
THEORETICAL LECTURES- represent a group lessons for all participants of the festival, which will take part during daily activities held in the Dom omladine Beograda and private school Dositej.

* Only active, passive or employed participant of the festival has a right to play on the competition, except of canditats in chamber music for guitar, I and II category, that can participate in competition, without beign active or passive participant

* The competition is open to public
* Five different juries in the first stage and two global in the finals consisting of lecturers (participating in the festival) will follow the competition and decide on the awards in solo guitar competition, and one global jury in guitar in chamber music competition
* The decisions of the juries are final
* The list of candidates names in alphabetical order will be announced on the March 11th, 2014 (19:00) in Belgrade Youth Center (before concert Naxos trio at the meeting of all profesors and participants)
* The score list for all categories in solo guitar competition will be announced at the end of the first stage before concert on March 12th at 19:00h in Belgrade Youth Center
* From 3 to 5 candidates from III, IV, V and VI category in solo guitar in the first stage will continue to compete in the second stage (finals)
* The candidates must perform the compositions from memory
* The candidates can not play the same composition in both first and second stage
* Requested duration of the composition refers to the candidate’s / duo's / ensemble's performance as a whole
* In case of exceeding the requested duration the jury has the right to stop the candidate’s / duo's / ensemble's playing
* In case two candidates / duos / ensembles have the same score, younger will be given priority
* In category guitar in chamber music candidates are allowed to freely form duo / ensemble (baroque, classical, non-standard, vocal ...)
* The concert of the winners of the competition in all categories will be held on the March 16th, 2014 at Atrium of National Museum at 16:00
* Guitars, as well as the money awards (expressed in Euro) will be given to the winners of the competition on the March 16th, 2014 in Belgrade Youth Center (Main hall) at 20:00.
GUITAR ART LAUREATE
(March 14th – 16th, 2014, Zrenjanin)
Considered as a small festival dedicated to young students, primarily to pupils and students – winners of previous Guitar Art Festival competition.
Performers: Leon Ravnikar (Slovenia), Stojan Stojanov (Macedonia), David Štrbac (Serbia), Vuk Dragičević (Serbia), Liora Šijački (Serbia), Jelica Mijanović (Montenegro).
GUITAR VISUAL ART
(March 10th – 16th, 2014, Belgrade Youth Center)
Exhibition A POSTERIORI carries a symbolic name and refers to a review and knowledge in creation of Guitar Art Festival, over the past fifteen years troughout further segments: exhibition of photographies, monography of the festival, documentary movie about festival, audio & printed material of the festival.
GUITAR ART WORLD
(March 15th & 16th, 2014, Belgrade Youth Center)
Guitar Art World is a new segment of the festival which is dedicated to: guitarists of all profiles and creative music education for children and adults troughout further activities: Guitar Open Stage, creative workshops for classic, acoustic and electric guitars with renowned guitarists and music workshops for children.
GUITAR ART EXPO
(March 15th, 2014, Belgrade Youth Center)
Guitar and music fans will be given a chance to find products of the most famous guitar builders and distributors. Collectors will also have an opportunity to present their guitars from private collections.
The exhibition area is divided in five main parts:
A – Classic Guitar (guitar manufacturers, luthiers, accessories...)
B – Acoustic / Electric Guitar (guitar manufacturers, guitar shops, accessories...)
C – Book shop (publishing houses)
D – Guitar Square (gaming zone, communications, banks, media...)
E – General commercial category (HiFi, souvenirs, Friends of Guitar Art Festival...)
There will also be certain events which will make Guitar Art Expo even more interesting such as:
1. Workshops - hosted by famous local and foreign guitarist
2. Presenting new products - guitars and equipement
3. Competitions / Exhibitions - in different categories (Pop/Rock, Jazz & Ethno)
HOW TO APPLY, RULES, ACCOMMODATION
(for candidates from abroad):
1. The deadline for submission of applications is March 1st, 2014.
2. The candidates are obligated to submit the following:
- duly completed application form
- proof of payment of the first installment of the registration fee
- a copy of identity card or passport (competitors only)
- the program (for both stages - competitors only)

5. The registration fee for participants are the following:
a) For PASSIVE CANDIDATES the registration fee is 120 Euro (tickets for all the concerts, Guitar Art Expo, Guitar Art World, Guitar Art Midnight Cafe Club, and passive presence on master classes, lectures, meetings and exhibitions); if the candidate wishes to compete he is obliged to pay additional fee in the amount of 30 to 80 €, depending upon the category he competes in;

For ACTIVE CANDIDATES the registration fee is 180 Euro (3 individual master classes (40 min each), tickets for all the concerts, Guitar Art Expo, Guitar Art World, Guitar Art Midnight Cafe Club, and passive presence on master classes, lectures, meetings and exhibitions); if the candidate wishes to compete he is obliged to pay additional fee in the amount of 30 to 80 €, depending upon the category he competes in.

For GUITAR IN CHAMBER MUSIC CANDIDATES the registration fee is 60, 90, 120 Euro (tickets for all the concerts, Guitar Art Expo, Guitar Art World, Guitar Art Midnight Cafe Club, and passive presence on master classes, lectures, meetings and exhibitions); if the candidate wishes to compete he is obliged to pay additional fee in the amount of 30 to 80 €, depending upon the category he competes in;
6.Payment should be made in two installments:
First installment: 50 Euro per participant is the amount for reservation, for all passive and active candidates and guitar in chamber music candidates, and should be paid latest until the March 1st, 2014. * First installment for guitar in chamber music is 50% (30 €/ 45 €/ 600 €) of full amount and it should be paid latest until the March 1st, 2014.

* Number of candidates in competition guitar in chamber music is limited:
- I category – 12 duos / ensembles
- II category – 10 duos / ensembles
- III category – 6 duos / ensembles
7. The total number of master classes during the festival is 240. It means that the number of candidates for the individual master classes is limited to 80, since 3 individual master classes (40 minutes each) are provided for every candidate.
Applying starts on 18th November, 2013 and first 80 candidates will have 3 individual master classes provided, no matter the age, success, school or country of the candidate.
Candidate specifies the names of 6 professors he would like to have the master class with, and then the festival committee decides on 3 professors (subject to availability) for 3 individual master classes and makes the schedule candidate agrees with.
8. In case of cancellation by the candidate, the registration fee will not be returned.
9. The candidates themselves bear travel and accommodation expenses in Belgrade.
10. Accommodation is available in partner hotels and student hostels located in Belgrade (bed and breakfast cost from 10 to 90 Euro). Reservation by e-mail: office@gaf.rs or by phone / fax to: +381 11 220 6244.
11.Daily program of the festival activities with all the materials and information will be distributed when registering on the March 11th, 2014 from 09:00 to 17:00 hours in Belgrade Youth Center.
