Mladen Nicic (1974) graduated from the Faculty of Music in Nis in the class of Vesna Petkovic.

During his studies, he won several national and many 2nd awards at competitions and festivals. His educational work began in 1998 in the Music School "Stevan Mokranjac" in Požarevac, where he works as head of the Department for Guitar and String Instruments.

His students are winners of numerous awards at various competitions and festivals. For the activities in the field of education of young talents, in 2009 he was given special recognition by the City of Požarevac, while in 2014 he was also awarded a Charter of Culture by the City of Požarevac.

He is the head of the school guitar competition Memorial "Miloš Đorđević", which is held every year in the music school in Požarevac, in remembrance of student Miloš Đorđević who passed away.
