Vojislav Ivanovic obtained highest academic degrees in Classical Guitar at Athens Conservatory with C. Cotsiolis and also Composition at the Music Academy in Sarajevo with V. Komadina. He was rewarded with numerous prizes both as a guitarist and a composer and he performed worldwide. Ivanovic is the participant and a jury member of guitar and composers festivals and competitions and he releaced many CD editions. Some of his guitar works are already included in the guitar repertoire and the didactic pieces from the series EGTA are now the integral part of the program on European conservatories and academies. In the area of improvised jazz and ethno music he has collaborated with many great artists. Along with Aleksandra Lazarevic, in 2008 he founded Levante Guitar Duo and since then they have been performing his music specially written for the duo. He is a Guitar Professor at the Music Academy in Eastern Sarajevo.
