Djani Sehu (1980, Sarajevo) finished elementary and high music school in Sarajevo. He continued his studies in Paris at the Conservatory of Music Alfred Cortot, in the class of Professor Rafael Andie. In 2000, he enrolled in the University od Music and Applied Arts in Vienna in the class of Konrad Ragossnig and Alexander Swete and graduated from the same institution in 2005. In 2010, he completed Masters Degree in the class of Alexander Swete.

Djani has held numerous concerts in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Austria, France, Sweden, Italy and Germany. He recorded a significant number of pieces for RTV B&H archive and performed in children’s educational shows and programs of RTV B&H and NTV Hayat. As a soloist, Djani has played with Sarajevo Philharmonics and several string quartets. With his brother and flutist Adi Sehu, he has performed in duo and has played in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Sweden and Germany.

He participated in two competitions. In 1998, he won a Special prize at the National competition of Bosnia & Herzegovina, and in 1999 the Second prize at the International competition in Paris, organized by Chanterelles label.

Djani is a jury member at the guitar competitions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad. He is the founder of Sarajevo International Guitar Festival and teaches at the Music Academy in Sarajevo.
