A guitarist, musicologist and a researcher, Giacomo Parimbelli completed Humanistic studies and graduated guitar from the Conservatory of Verona, followed by MA program in the class of S. Grondona.

He lies between tradition and innovation both as an author and a researcher for his deep knowledge of cultural history in the world of guitar and lute. Among his numerous musicological discoveries and publications related to documents of the history of the Italian music, he recorded Citarodia Bergomense (1st anthology dedicated to lutenist and guitarists of Bergamo), Suite for Guitar (by A. L. Roncalli) and The Guitar of Peter Gallinotti, Solero  luthier (music of '900 Italian period). Parimbelli invented strings named Infinity under the Venetian manufacturers Dogal Strings. This new stringing for classical guitar was created specifically for vintage and modern guitars suitable for the classic repertoire of Italian period XIX-XX.

He is a Producer of the series The Guitar, dedicated to rare and unreleased music of the repertoire for plucked string instruments. Parimbelli gives concerts, exhibitions and conferences throughout Europe and is an Artistic Director of the Italian guitar week in Martinengo (Province) and the Bergamo Guitar Festival.
