Darko Karajic

Before studies, Darko Karajic had been learning to play guitar with Dušan Šaponja, Nadezda Kondic, Dusan Bogdanovic and Vera Ogrizovic. He graduated from the Music Academy in Zagreb (Croatia) in the class of Professor István Römer. He received Master’s and PhD degree at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of Vera Ogrizovic.

As a member of ensembles Musica Antiqua, Ars Nova and Renesans he performed in all major venues and festivals in former Yugoslavia, as well as in most European countries. Karajic is a Docent at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade and a Professor of lute at the Department for Early Music in Music School Josip Slavenski.

He is a lecturer at the Music Academy in Sarajevo (Bosnia & Herzegovina) as well and a member of Association of Musical Artists and Society of Classical Guitarists in Serbia.
