Marko Topcchii was born into a family of musicians 1991 in Kyiv, Ukraine. At the age of 4 he started studying guitar under the direction of Volodymyr Homenyuk and then Boris Belskiy. In 2011 Marko graduated from the I. Kotlyarevsky National University of Arts in Kharkiv (under the teaching of Professor Volodymyr Dotsenko, Honored Artist of Ukraine).

He attended master classes with Marcin Dylla, Tania Chagnot, Carlo Marchione, Judicaël Perroy, Aniello Desiderio, Elena Galuzevskaya, Yuri Fomin, Natalia Marunich and others.

The early career of the artist has started in 2002 and includes about twenty prizes in junior category of national and international competitions. In February 2009, Marko successfully held his first solo concert in the Lysenko Column Hall of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine. The second concert was presented on March 2010. Here guitarist introduced his new concert program, which includes a "Pictures at an Exhibition" - a famous suite in ten movements composed for piano by Modest Mussorgsky in 1874, then originally transcribed for guitar by Kazuhito Yamashita and now rearranged by Marko. He actively gives recitals in Ukraine and abroad: Italy, Spain, Germany, France, India, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, etc.

Marko plays a guitar made by Karl-Heinz Roemmich and is a D’Addario artist.

At the age of 21 Marko is a laureate and finalist of many international competitions in professional category.
