Zoran Kuvac was born in Sarajevo in 1967. His string instruments workshop was opened in 1998 in Banjaluka. He has loved the classical guitar ever since he heard its sound for the first time. This love brought him to the school of music where he learned to play the guitar and wished to start building instruments himself. The idea to choose the guitar maker’s path was born on the occasion of a fair where he saw for the first time a handcrafted guitar.

Then he realized that to build a guitar he didn’t need to have a factory. Next he went to Serbia to start a three-year apprenticeship with a master manufacturer of tambura-like instruments Dusko Rajkovic. Today he owns a manufacturing workshop in Banjaluka which gives life each year to at least 12 exceptional handcrafted classical guitars.
