Pavle Filipović was born in 1995 in Belgrade. He graduated from the Music School "Josip Slavenski" and he finished undergraduate and master studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, in the class of Prof. Darko Karajić, as the best student of the Department. During his schooling, he attended masterclasses with professors such as Hubert Käppel, Eliot Fisk, Gabriel Bianco, Marco Tamayo, Zoran Dukić, Dimitri Illarionov, Pavel Steidl, Thomas Offermann, Costas Cotsiolis.

He performed in the Great Hall of the Kolarac Endowment, the Great Hall of the SKC, the Guarnerius Hall, the Rectorate Hall of the University of Arts, the Ethnographic and National Museum in Belgrade, as well as the Vojvodina Guitar Festival in Novi Sad. He held concerts abroad – at the 12th Ana Amalia Youth Competition in Weimar and the Guitar Forum in Hamburg.

During his schooling, he won numerous awards at international competitions, including the first prize at the XXII Guitar Art Festival (Belgrade, 2021) and the second prize at the 23rd International Guitar Festival Rust ‘Alirio Diaz’ (2021).
