Mr. Bettencourt is a winner of 24 international competition prizes and holds a Portugal prize record of 6 in one year (2012). He has performed in important venues, solo or as soloist with orchestra, given masterclasses in numerous festivals in over 20 countries in Europe, Africa and North America and the world premiere of several pieces dedicated to him by Ávila, Castro, Figueiredo, Rasta, Vassiliev, Duplessy, Tse, Iannarelli and Kuhar.

Mr Bettencourt holds a Bachelor’s diploma from the University of Aveiro (Portugal) with Dr Paulo Vaz de Carvalho and Dr Pedro Rodrigues, and with a full scholarship from Science and Technology Foundation (Portugal), a Masters in Music degree from Maastricht Conservatory (Netherlands) with leading guitarist Dr Carlo Marchione.

Mr. Bettencourt avid multidisciplinary projects include a release of a private jewellery line - Signature Collection “Mollitiam”, foundation of the movement and Video-Series “GuitarViral”, CD recordings releases under his recording studio production and worldwide sponsorships.

Inspired by the novel “Around the World in 80 days” by Julius Verne and the trilogy with British Royal Family, Mr. Bettencourt has created a 10-year project (2021-2030) – “Pentalogy Around the World” - which includes “50 concerts with 50 orchestras in 50 countries Around the World in 80 days” for Guinness World Records. This mega-project includes a documentary series - “The Hard Truth” - about Mr. Bettencourt life for a major streaming tv-series platform, and scientific contribution to become the first person to use an injectable biomedical microchip prototype that stats independent real-time GPS location and human vital signs.
