Miloš Janjić is one of the most distinguished representatives of his generation of Serbian guitarists. He graduated and earned his master’s degree from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade under Professor Srđan Tošić. After two years of advanced studies under the renowned guitarist and pedagogue Carlo Marchione at the Conservatorium Maastricht (Netherlands), he completed his master’s program with high honors.

He is the recipient of numerous awards and honors both in Serbia and abroad, among which the most notable are: laureate of the 7th International Competition of Guitar Music Performance in Mottola (Italy); second prize and the audience award at the De Bonis competition in Cosenza (Italy); and laureate at the International Classical Guitar Festival in Sinaia (Romania).

For three decades, Miloš Janjić has been active as a concert performer, giving numerous solo and chamber music concerts in Serbia’s most prestigious venues. He has also performed in Romania, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a performer, lecturer, and jury member, he has participated in festivals such as Guitar Art Festival (Belgrade), Nimus (Niš), International Review of Composers (Belgrade), Sinaia Guitar Festival (Romania), Guitar Open Festival (Subotica), Nikšić Guitar Festival and Bar Guitar Fest (Montenegro), Vojvodina Guitar Festival, Naissus Guitar Festival, among others. He has made permanent audio and video recordings for national television and radio stations.

Today, Miloš Janjić works as a full professor at the Department of Guitar, Accordion, and Percussion at the Faculty of Arts in Niš.
