Mihajlo Durdevic (2000) was born in Smederevo. He grew up in Vienna, where he started playing guitar at the age of seven. In 2019, he graduated with honours from the "Musikgymnasium Wien" and has been studying guitar with prof. Alexander Swete since then at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW). Mihajlo has won numerous prices at national and international competitions, including four first prizes at the Austrian National Competition "Prima la Musica" and the first prize at the Guitar Art Festival in Belgrade in 2023. At age of twelve, he participated as first guitar at the children’s opera “Pollicino” at the Vienna State Opera. He performed in prestigious halls like the Ehrbar Saal in Vienna and played together with the Paganini Ensemble Vienna in Gent (Belgium) in 2023. Besides guitar, he also plays the viola and has participated in various orchestras, which led him play in halls like the ORF RadioKulturhaus and the Great Hall (Großer Saal) in the Wiener Musikverein.
