XXV Guitar Art Festival

15 – 19. May 2024. / Belgrade / Serbia

We are celebrating 25 years of Guitar Art Festival!

The 25th anniversary festival will be held from May 15 to 19 at several locations in Belgrade. As many as 10 concerts will be held during the five festival days.

For a quarter of a century, the Guitar Art Festival has been turned Belgrade into the guitar capital, which has been visited by Ennio Morricone, then Sting, Paco de Lucia, Mariza, Tommy Emmanuel, Luz Casal, Rosenberg Trio, Pink Martini, Vaya Con Dios and many others.

We are proud that the Belgrade festival enjoys the status of one of the five largest and most prominent international classical guitar festivals in the world.

Guitar Art Festival organized more than 400 concerts with top musicians from 57 countries of the world. The festival has long gone beyond the boundaries of classical guitar and exclusively professional audiences. Every year, we carefully built our audience with a program that represented the highest artistic expressions of classical, flamenco, fado, and jazz music. So far, more than 300,000 visitors have visited the festival concerts.

One of the main missions of the Guitar Art Festival is the support, improvement and promotion of the greatest young talents. Every year Belgrade is visited by the greatest professors and guitarists who work with students from all over the world. So far, 4,000 students from 48 countries have visited the festival. Also, the importance of the festival is reflected in the organization of one of the largest guitar competitions, where 500 prizes worth 500,000 euros have been awarded to young virtuosos so far.

Guitar Art Festival builds guitar cultural heritage, documents development and achievements on its authorized audio releases. Every year, a CD compilation of the best recordings from the previous festival is released. Today, we own a collection of 30 editions where some of the world's biggest names in the music scene have been recorded and preserved at concerts organized in Belgrade.
