Goran Krivokapić won his first competition at the age of 14, but his breakthrough came in 2004 as the winner of GFA in Montreal, Canada.

Since then he has performed all over the world and in the most prestigious halls as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow, Lubkowitz Palace in Vienna, Auditorio Conde Duque in Madrid, etc. As an artist, lecturer and adjudicator, he is a frequent guest at many international festivals in Europe and America. His musical focus is on the development of new works for guitar, through making his own transcriptions, but also colaborating with composers who write for him. Since 2010 he is working as a lecturer at the prestigious Koblenz International Guitar Academy.
