Why is Luz Casal so special? It is bacuse her voice doesn’t enter through the ears, but straight through the heart. Whether you understand Spanish or not, you’ll feel every word, because emotions need no translation. If you’ve ever loved, suffered, hoped, or simply appreciate soul-stirring music – this concert is something you can’t miss.
Luz Casal is one of the most acclaimed Spanish artists, with 14 albums and over five million copies sold, along with numerous compilations. Her most famous albums include A contraluz, Como la flor prometida, Un mar de confianza, and especially the hit Negra Sombra from the Oscar-winning film The Sea Inside by Alejandro Amenábar. Luz Casal is the recipient of a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, the French Order of Arts and Letters, the Spanish Goya Film Award, as well as the keys to the cities of Paris and Madrid.
