According to critics, composer and guitarist Joaquín Clerch is one of the world's leading, if not the best guitarists of his generation. Clerch has already visited Belgrade in his career and held a concert at the Guitar Art Festival. Inspired by the authenticity of the Serbian capital, as well as the special energy of the festival, which brings together the best guitarists from around the world, he composed a piece dedicated to Belgrade.

Joaquín Clerch intended to revive Balkan themes as part of the "Recuerdos e Belgrado" concert, using four well-known melodies that permeate the composer's music world.

The composer dedicates the concert to Belgrade, the Guitar Art Festival and its founder and director Boško Radojković, who managed to create an authentic and unique festival in Belgrade in the past two decades, where the greatest guitarists from all over the world gather, make friends, improve and create new guitar pieces, which are becoming a modern guitar heritage of the whole world.

Conductor Bojan Suđić, together with the RTS Symphony Orchestra, is traditionally part of the festival's production of contemporary guitar music.
This is the third premiere of the concert for guitar and orchestra, which was written especially for the Belgrade Guitar Art Festival, and which is performed by the RTS Symphony Orchestra led by Suđić.
