Concert Sabrina Vlaskalic - Guitar ARt Circle

The series of concerts dubbed Guitar Art Cycle in the newly opened House of Culture of the Guitar Art Festival brings together artists, friends, creators and business associates of the festival.

After 10 successful years of classical guitar concerts in Madlenianum, Guitar Art Festival, in cooperation with embassies in Belgrade, who have been festival friends since its inception, a new cycle of introducing young virtuoso guitarists begins. This new Guitar Art Festival project starts with the concert of Sabrina Vlaškalić from the Netherlands.

Guitar Art Circle organizes concerts in one of the most beautiful villas in Belgrade, in the authentic ambience of the House of Culture, which was designed in 1932 by architect Matija Bleh. Upcoming guitar concerts pretend to gather artistic admirers, to introduce them to the highly talented young guitarists and to provide them with a different concert experience and atmosphere.

The host of the first concert within the concert cycle of the Guitar Art Circle will be the Embassy of The Kingdom of the Netherlands in Belgrade, along with the Guitar Art Festival. It is a great pleasure that the cycle starts with the concert of Sabrina Vlaškalic, who has been named one of the most promising guitar talents of today. At the concert on 26 October she will perform solo recital, within which she will present a part of the program dedicated to the Dutch composers. Sabrina lives and works as a classical guitar teacher at the Hanze University in Groningen.

In addition to the concert, a retrospective photo exhibition featuring Dutch artists who participated in the Guitar Art Festival between 2000 and 2017 will be organized (Rosenberg Trio, Janne Janne, Stochelo Rosenberg)
