Guy Traviss
Guy Traviss (Classical Guitar Magazine special reporter) studied guitar at the University of Surrey as well as Musical Aesthetics and Musicology. He has also studied with composer Stephen Goss, working with him on his Sonata for Guitar, as well as receiving training from renowned teachers and guitarists such as Fabio Zanon, Craig Ogden, Jason Vieaux, Richard Wright and Paul Galbraith.
Guy has performed in variety of settings both as a soloist and ensemble-player, with appearances at London’s Royal Festival Hall and the Freiberg International Festival of Music.
Guy currently divides his time between teaching, writing and performing, and plans to begin a doctoral research programme related to the classical guitar in the near future.
