Bojan Suđić
Bojan Suđić is chief conductor and artistic director of the ensemble of Music Production of Radio Television of Serbia and professor of conducting at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. He conducted the first full-evening concert with 19 years as a student of the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. He won the first prize in conducting at the Yugoslav competition for music artists (Zagreb, 1989) in the discipline that has never before given. In the same year he was awarded with Foundation scholarship Lovro von Matačić. He was assistant conductor since 1985 and then a permanent conductor of the choir and symphony orchestra of Radio Television of Serbia since 1992. He premiered many choral, symphonic and vocal-symphonic works of contemporary authors, and gave the first performances and first recordings of significant part of the Serbian heritage. The first concert of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra Bojan Suđić conducted in 1989. As a guest conductor of Opera and Ballet of National Theater in Belgrade, Bojan Suđić performed in 1993. During the 1999 and 2000 he was Chief Conductor of the ensemble. He was guest conductor since 1998, and then the permanent conductor of the Royal Opera in Stockholm since 2001. Bojan Suđić has toured in Russia, Germany, Greece, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Bulgaria, Portugal, Brazil and China. As a symphonic conductor he has cooperated with several European orchestras. He established himself as a reliable and creative interpreter of the great symphonic and vocal-instrumental works.
