Roberto Fabbri has an extremely active career as a fine performer, composer, teacher and writer.

He studied at the State Conservatory of "Santa Cecilia" in Rome where he graduated in 1986 with full honors; subsequently he achieved the diploma of bachelor in music with 110 and praise. He has developed his musical career as a soloist, and with the famous guitar quartet "Nexus". Fabbri is regularly invited to perform and teach Master classes in international guitar festivals and to judge at international competitions around the world. Besides his work as a performer, Roberto Fabbri has written numerous compositions for guitar. A lot of guitar composers like Brouwer, Domeniconi, Kavanagh, Gangi wrote pieces for him. He is the headmaster and teacher of classical guitar at the Academy "Novamusica e Arte" in Rome.

 

He teaches classical guitar for 20 years at State Conservatory "Giulio Briccialdi" in Terni (Italy). As an organiser, from 2007, he is the artistic director from of ’’Fiuggi Guitar Festival“. Roberto Fabbri has carried out an intense didactic and editorial activity, he wrote around 50 books cooperating with different publishing houses like Carisch, Hal Leonard, Ricordi. He plays a Ramirez 125° Anniversary. In 2012 Fabbri has signed with Sony classical and he has recorded his music in the CD "Nei Tuoi Occhi". In 2023 he signed a new contract with Sony like “exclusive artist” with two new digital CDs “Lucio Battisti” and “Guitar Meets Movie”. His YouTube channel has 20.000 followers and 2.500.000 visualizations.
