Stevan Jović (1986) was born in Šabac where he finished Music High School “Mihailo Vukdragović” in Šabac in the studio of prof. Marko Erdevički and prof. Nenad Kondić. He graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in the class of prof. Zoran Krajišnik. He received the Little Prince award as the best student of his generation. He completed his Masters and Performer Diploma in the United States at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music in the studio of Maestro Ernesto Bitetti.

Jović received awards at many national and international guitar competitions including first prizes in Serbia, Slovenia, France and North America. In the United States he invented Practice-Right, a guitar teaching tool for proper right-hand posture. His recent performances include concerts at the 16^th Vojvodina Guitar Festival (Novi Sad), OmniMusica 2022 Festival (Tuzla), and Guitar Camp Petnica (Valjevo). As a jury member, Jović participated at numerous international and national festivals including International Guitar Competition “Alirio Diaz” Rust (Austria), Transylvania Guitar Festival (Romania), Vojvodina Guitar Festival (Novi Sad), ZGuitar Festival (Zvornik), etc.

Guitarists Association of Vojvodina published his two books: guitar history – Guitar Through the Centuries (2017), and collection of pieces – Maestri 1 (2021). Jović works as a guitar professor at Music High School “Isidor Bajić” in Novi Sad.
